As the weather gets colder the excitement continues to heat up! This program is filled with TOUCHDOWNS for everyone! We will teach/review basic football rules and skills through drills and games. We will be using a foam Nerf Football for all games. All participants will get a NFL mini helmet each week. Players should bring their own water bottle and their own mouth guard (we will have extra mouth guards available on day of for a $5 fee). This is a contractual program

All participants are entered into a RAFFLE and prizes include: Packs of NERF darts, Nerf Equipments, and even a BRAND NEW NERF toy! Parents are welcome to observe from the balcony (if you dare!) We will provide the darts and supervision. You must bring your own NERF toy that accepts standard NERF darts, EYE PROTECTION (goggles/sun glasses) & water. WHEN: Tuesdays, February 26 – April 2nd                                                    WHERE: Kennebunk Elementary School TIMES: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm  COST: $60/participant (6 weeks)   INSTRUCTOR: Steve Hrehovcik This class is ideal for artists just starting or artists who want to reenergize their art skills and techniques. You’ll learn to use lines, shapes, shading, composition and perspective to create figure drawings, scenic views, architectural structures and still life compositions. You’ll discover your personal artistic style and develop ways to draw “what you see, not what you think you see.” You’ll have fun drawing as you experiment with the rules of art and how and when to break them. Imagine that! Bring a drawing pad (approx. 10 x 14 or bigger, spiral bound works best), pencils- soft and hard lead, "improvers" (aka erasers), a ruler, and your imagination.Min: 6  Max: 12

Our Snowshoeing After School Club aims to give students in grades 3, 4, & 5 a chance to access all the beautiful trails in and around town in the winter months. Participants will learn how you use there snowshoes, read maps, use a compass, and most importantly have fun outside in the winter time. This is a great opportunity for children to enjoy being active in a non-competitive and exciting outdoor environment.Participants must have their own snowshoes and bring warm clothes each week. If there is no snow or if the temperature is lower than 15 degrees at noon on the day of the program, a make up session will be scheduled. Cost includes transportation from SRS to local trails in town. You’ll learn to use lines, shapes, shading, composition and perspective to create figure drawings, scenic views, architectural structures and still life compositions. You’ll discover your personal artistic style and develop ways to draw “what you see, not what you think you see.” You’ll have fun drawing as you experiment with the rules of art and how and when to break them. Our Snowshoeing After School Club aims to give students in grades 3, 4, & 5 a chance to access all the beautiful trails in and around town in the winter months. Participants will learn how you use there snowshoes, read maps, use a compass, and most importantly have fun outside in the winter time. This is a great opportunity for children to enjoy being active in a non-competitive and exciting outdoor environment.Participants must have their own snowshoes and bring warm clothes each week. If there is no snow or if the temperature is lower than 15 degrees at noon on the day of the program, a make up session will be scheduled. Cost includes transportation from SRS to local trails in town. As the weather gets colder the excitement continues to heat up! This program is filled with TOUCHDOWNS for everyone! We will teach/review basic football rules and skills through drills and games.
