Explore the ghost stories and legendary history of the oldest towns in Maine, York and Kittery with the author of the local bestselling book Haunted York County, Roxie J. Zwicker. Many of the stories on this tour come directly from the locals and their experiences with haunted history. Follow the 11 mile historic train and trolley route that went from Portsmouth to York from 1887 to 1927. This trolley ride will feature historic images displayed on the full color trolley screens throughout this two hour tour. Hear fascinating stories from Kittery Point and Cape Neddick and view some of the oldest homes in southern Maine dating back to the late 17th and early 18th century. Explore York Beach history and legends from haunted inns, ghost ships and haunted lighthouses. We will even take ride through one of the oldest neighborhoods in southern Maine as we share ghostly tales of historic York Village. Discover remnants of the old trolley line that are hiding in plain sight. After we will make a stop for lunch & stop at Yummies Candy Store in Kittery. Yummies is a happy place filled from floor to ceiling with thousands of pounds of unusual and nostalgic candy and nuts. Min/Max: 15
