*This program is for 5th graders who have completed at least 1 year of band and 4th graders who have auditioned with the instructor.* Jazz Band is an exciting program for students who are interested in exploring popular music, jazz and improvisation. Students work as an ensemble focusing on creativity, technique and performance practice. They will spend time listening and viewing jazz performances, learning basic jazz theory and study the history of jazz. Min: 10 Max: 25
